ArchiCAD 9 on Windows XP x64 edition

The same comments apply as with ArchiCAD 8.1. However, using ArchiCAD 9 build 2172 and higher on x64 has benefit over the 32-bit XP. Although a 32-bit application can theoretically use 4 GB memory address space, the 32-bit XP imposes a 2 Gb limitation on every application. As a result, you are able to build and render larger 3D models on a 64-bit system. A slight modification in the ArchiCAD 9 code was necessary to achieve this, so only build 2172 and above is able to exploit this benefit.
