What is the Techtip competition?

- A monthly competition of ArchiCAD users who submit the best/newest tip that helps others. Lateral thinking, original ideas & approaches, sharing of objects, and hidden/undiscovered new features are all welcome.

Who can take part in the Techtip competition?

- ArchiCAD-talkers: join this vivid community of thousands of users and your comments will be reviewed by The Techtip Master.

Where do I have to register to take part? Where do I submit my tips?

- On ArchiCAD-talk (http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com). Register as a user and submit your tip in the relevant section! Place "[tip]'

How does the Techtip Master know I have submitted a techtip?

- You have to include the word 'tip' in your post on ArchiCAD-Talk. Every month, the archives are searched for threads that contain this word - only these are examined and take part in the competition.

Why is it good to submit Techtips?

- Because a) you help and inspire your fellow ArchiCAD-users, b) you can win the Monthly Techtip Award, c) the monthly winners all take part in the Yearly Techtip Award competition. MTA winners receive a mug, a t-shirt or something similar from Graphisoft; whilst YTA winners receive special prizes! (GS chair, or some useful Add-on, or object collections etc.)
