TechTip of the Month Contest Winner of June 2005:

Graeme Mair's (fuzzytnth3) tip on sketch rendering settings!

...anyone know where I could see images of the different sketch style effects?
"I came across this post having just rendered every default style last week to see which was best so I've complied them into a PDF for you all. It exceeds the max attached file size (the pdf is 460k) so I've posted it here: http://homepage.mac.com/fuzzytnth3/fuzzyblogs/tips/C1514112824/E901909564/Media/Sketch%2dStyles.pdf
Enjoy :)"

The basic settings can be found as described below:

  1. Select the Sketch Rendering Engine in the Image/Photorendering Settings... dialog,

  2. Choose the desired type from the Basic Settings/Sketch Style pull-down menu,

  3. Create a PhotoRendering (i.e. press F10).

By printing the summary of fuzzytnth3, it is easy to see what each basic setting will look like allowing to save on time...
