Printing bug on Mac OS X 10.4.7 with Japanese, Cyrillic or Greek characters
Due to an error in the Apple Mac OS X 10.4.7 (PPC and Intel version) it is not possible to print from Archicad when the print job name contains only national characters (Japanese or Cyrillic or Greek). After giving out the print command everything seems to be OK, the print job goes out from the printer queue, but the printer does not receive anything thus no printing is performed. This is not an Archicad specific bug it happens also when TextEdit is used. On Apple Mac OSX 10.4.6 printing still works. A workaround on OSX 10.4.7 would be to save your Archicad files with an ASCII (alphanumeric Latin) character in the file name. This becomes part of the print job name and then it will be printed. This bug has been reported to Apple and it is expected to be fixed in Mac OSX 10.4.8.
