Font Script Codes

ArchiCAD 8.1 and older

Font script code is a setting in ArchiCAD that defines the character set that ArchiCAD will use. This setting is different in the different localization versions of ArchiCAD. This setting should only be changed if you want to use a different character set than the default in your ArchiCAD localization. E.g. Font Script Code for English is 0, and for Korean it's 129. If you want to type Korean text in an International English ArchiCAD, you need to change Font Script Code to 129.

ArchiCAD 9 and newer

ArchiCAD (from version 9) supports the Unicode standard, therefore you can type text in any language without changing the Font Script Code. However, this applies only to the Text Tool, and does not apply to attribute names (e.g. layers) or Library Part parameter names
