Subtraction with downward extrusion from a stair

Issue

A slab is not subtracted with downward extrusion from a stair properly.

Cause

The extrusion length is calculated from the base elevation of the target and the top elevation of the operator element. For example the length of a downward extrusion is the base elevation of the target subtracted from the top elevation of the operator. In some cases the base elevation of the stair is equal to the top of the slab so the mentioned difference is 0. For this reason, the part of the stair body that is below its base level and also below the operator (in this case, the slab) does not get cut.

Solution

There are two possible workarounds:
- Place a thicker slab onto a hidden layer which contains all the bottom of the stair and subtract that from it.
- Lower the base point of the stair with 1 mm. Then the subtraction with downward extrusion will do what it should.

The correction of this issue is planned to be in the next version of ArchiCAD.
