Crash when Exporting, Publishing or Printing PDF
by GaborAlmasi, updated 2012-08-10 • ArchiCAD15 • RefID: 131644 • Not our bug
Issue
ArchiCAD could crash when exporting, publishing or printing PDF documents on Mac OS X. In most of the reported cases the PDF files were placed into the projects as external drawings and the crash occurred under the PDF context drawing process.
Cause
The crash is caused by a problem in Mac OS operating systems.
Solution
The released ArchiCAD 16 version already includes a workaround which eliminates the problem. We are planning to implement it into the next ArchiCAD 15 Hotfix too.
