Issue
In the Label Settings Dialog, under the Text Label Tab Page, enter a value different from 0 degrees for Text Angle (e.g. 30). OK the Dialog and place a Label. The Text will be correctly placed at a 30 degrees angle. Now, go again to the Dialog. You will see that the Angle field contains zero. If you OK the Dialog and place another Label, its Text will again be placed at 30 degrees.
Cause
The cause of this is because ArchiCAD does not preserve the Angle value, but displays zero instead. So even if you enter zero in the field, ArchiCAD will think there has been no change made to the value and so it again places the Text at the previously used angel - that is, 30 degrees.
Solution
Type a value different from zero in the field, then type zero in the field. Then OK the Dialog and ArchiCAD correctly place the Text at a zero degrees angel.
Note: This problem is scheduled for fixing in the next maintenance release of ArchiCAD.
